We’re pleased to share that MUSC Health now has COVID-19 vaccine appointments open. Those who meet South Carolina DHEC eligibility criteria may now schedule online. We are constantly monitoring schedules and vaccine supply to open as many appointments as possible, so if there are no slots available, please continue to check back. New appointments and locations may become available throughout the day.

Pediatric infectious disease physician Dr. Allison Eckard, who is leading the trial of the experimental MIS-C therapy, speaks with Dr. Andrew Atz, chair of the Department of Pediatrics.

First in nation

MUSC Children's Health pediatricians are the first in the nation to test an experimental treatment for multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children. MIS-C is a rare but life-threatening complication of COVID-19.
