A Message from Your Class Representative
Dear Class of 2016,
As this academic year draws to a close, we will assuredly begin to realize that the South Carolina College of Pharmacy at MUSC will soon become our alma mater. On May 20, we will all walk across the stage to grasp the doctorate diploma which we have worked tirelessly towards over the past four years. Together as a class, we have accomplished many feats of which we should be proud. However, we cannot forget that we would not be here today without the incredible deans, faculty and staff of the college.
In an attempt to honor those who have guided us through this journey and to leave behind a place of which we will always be proud, we are creating a tribute campaign for our one and only alma mater. It is our request that you will consider contributing to our cause by pledging a future donation or setting aside a small donation before graduation. Through class participation, we may even have the opportunity to name a space in the new College building!
The Student Legacy Committee of the Class of 2016 will work together for the remainder of this year to promote our campaign and answer any questions that you may have about the intent of this project. If additional inquiries arise throughout this process, please do not hesitate to contact an involved classmate. The committee has been organized by Megan Draper and Abby Grady and consists of eleven PharmD Candidates: Lindsay Avery, Eileen Chen, Brandyce Coes, Ardis Copenhaver, Anthony DeClue, Heather Johnson, Collin Kelley, Todd Larson, Drake Meeder, Alyssa Rabon and Shabree Roberson.
We want to reiterate the fact that our goal is not a specific monetary amount, rather 100% participation from our class. In order to leave behind a significant legacy, we want all of us to be unified in our commitment to the future of pharmacy and to the future of this college.
Whether you can pledge $5 or $500, we would appreciate your help! Join us in commemorating our years at MUSC by leaving behind a symbolic “thank you” for those who have helped us along the way and who will continue in their efforts to develop some of America’s best pharmacists.
Donations can be pledged over a five year period and are also tax-deductible.
We wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors!
Sincerely, The Student Legacy Committee of 2016
Lindsay Avery Eileen Chen Brandyce Coes Ardis Copenhaver Anthony DeClue Heather Johnson Collin Kelley Todd Larson Drake Meeder Alyssa Rabon Shabree Roberson
